Description
Small coin silver ladle spoon (just over 6” long with
a bowl just under 2” wide) with the name H.E. Lewis engraved on it, made by E.
Newbury of Brooklyn, Connecticut, circa 1820s to 1830s. The mark under the
handle reads E. Newbury & Co. and Pure Coin. The spoon is in good or better
condition with no significant flaws or damage. Unusual form. Nice early
American coin silver ladle!
